I try to make my websites accessible for all people. To further this goal, I will host a page dedicated to browser support. I will be adding an IRC chat to this website in the future, so when that happens, come talk to me there if you find a web browser that isn’t listed here. I have tried my best to cover pretty much all browsers available in the AUR.

“Modern” Browsers

Most contemporary web rendering engines are supported. Blink, Gecko, WebKit are all supported. Some rendering quirks vary inbetween these, specifically the text-shadow flag in CSS. Frankly, this is something I’m not too concerned about because it is just for visual flavor.

Text-Based Browsers

This site is best consumed on these, w3m being my primary one for browsing “normal” sites. As most of these browsers lack image support, that is not available. In addition, the homepage’s bottom bar of images doesn’t render correctly. Of course, the text-shadow flag doesn’t work here. Other than that, all content is available for reading. All Images have alt text so should still be generally readable.

Alternate GUI Engines

This site has been tested with the following browsers that don’t match the above two:

Dillo

Dillo is quite a fun browser. It’s very lightweight, and does support some CSS. As such, text colors and backgrounds render correctly, sans the text-shadow flag. In addition to that issue, the bottom bar on the homepage doesn’t render correctly either.

Lexbor

While I’m not going to develop a browser to use this just to test for this website, it appears that CSS support is in early stages, so this site will probably look broken on any Lexbor-based browser. :(
